Please read this Risk Disclosure carefully before using the AlphaProof platform (the "Service"). This document highlights important risks associated with investing and the use of our Service. By using AlphaProof, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the following disclosures.

J.N Family Holding, LLC d/b/a AlphaProof is NOT registered as an Investment Advisor with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), or any state securities regulator. AlphaProof does not provide investment advice.

1. General Investment Risk

All investments carry risk, including the risk of total loss of capital. The value of any investment may go up or down, and you may receive back less than you originally invested. There is no guarantee that any investment strategy will achieve its objectives or generate positive returns.

Nothing on the AlphaProof platform constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, tax advice, or any other form of professional advice.

Following another person's portfolio on AlphaProof does NOT constitute receiving financial advice
Subscribing to a Creator's portfolio does NOT create an advisor-client relationship
AlphaProof does not recommend, endorse, evaluate, or vouch for any trader's strategy, approach, or investment decisions
Verification status (Broker Verified, Attested, Manual) indicates the method by which trades were recorded — it does NOT indicate that AlphaProof endorses the trader or their strategy

You should consult a qualified, licensed financial advisor before making any investment decisions.

4. Creator Responsibility

Creators on AlphaProof are solely responsible for the trade records they publish. AlphaProof is not the author, publisher, or endorser of any Creator's content. While AlphaProof provides cryptographic verification tools to enhance transparency, the platform cannot guarantee that all information published by Creators is accurate, complete, or free from error.

The existence of a verified track record does not mean a Creator's future trades will be profitable. Do not invest based solely on a Creator's historical performance.

5. Market Data Disclaimer

Market data displayed on the Service (including stock prices, cryptocurrency prices, and portfolio valuations) is sourced from third-party providers including Polygon.io and CoinMarketCap.

Equity market data may be delayed by approximately 15 minutes or more and may not reflect real-time market conditions
Cryptocurrency market data may also be subject to delays
Portfolio valuations calculated using delayed data may not reflect current market values
Market data should not be relied upon for making time-sensitive trading or investment decisions

AlphaProof does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any market data. Use real-time data from your broker for actual trading decisions.

6. Cryptocurrency Risks

If you track or follow portfolios that include cryptocurrency or digital assets, be aware of the following additional risks:

Cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile — prices can fluctuate dramatically in short periods
Cryptocurrency assets are largely unregulated in many jurisdictions, and regulatory frameworks are evolving rapidly
Cryptocurrency exchanges and custodians may be subject to hacks, insolvency, or operational failures
The tax treatment of cryptocurrency varies by jurisdiction and is complex
Cryptocurrency values may go to zero

7. Platform Limitations

AlphaProof is a record-keeping and transparency tool. The platform has inherent limitations:

AlphaProof does not execute trades, hold assets, or custody funds on your behalf
The Service may experience downtime, errors, or interruptions
Third-party integrations (Plaid, SnapTrade, market data providers) may experience outages or data inaccuracies outside our control
Verification tools enhance transparency but cannot prevent all forms of fraud or misrepresentation

8. Your Responsibility

By using AlphaProof, you acknowledge and agree that:

You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions
You will not rely solely on information from AlphaProof to make investment decisions
You understand the risks of investing and accept the possibility of losing some or all of your invested capital
You will seek independent professional advice (financial, tax, legal) as appropriate for your circumstances
